Role Purpose:

The Senior Systems Analyst is responsible for the design, support, and continuous improvement of enterprise business systems, with a focus on Next.js/React, NestJS/NodeJS, Python, microservices-based applications on Azure Cloud, with integrations to Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Microsoft Business Central systems.

This role bridges business and technology by translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions. You will work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Tech Lead, UX Designers, Developers, QA Engineers, DevOps Engineers, and external business stakeholders to design highly scalable, cloud-native applications running on Microsoft Azure.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in enterprise application analysis, API design, business process modeling, systems integration, and modern cloud-based application architecture.

Scope of Responsibility

Business & System Analysis

• Work closely with Product Owners and Business Analysts to understand business objectives and functional requirements.
• Analyse existing business processes and recommend improvements through digital transformation and workflow automation.
• Conduct stakeholder workshops and facilitate requirement gathering sessions.
• Produce functional specifications, technical specifications, process flows, use cases, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

Solution Design

• Translate business requirements into scalable system designs.
• Produce High-Level and Low-Level Functional Designs.
• Design enterprise workflows covering product lifecycle, approvals, notifications, integrations, and reporting.
• Define API contracts, integration patterns, validation rules, and service interactions.
• Create sequence diagrams, activity diagrams, ER diagrams, and data flow diagrams.

Enterprise Integration

Design integration specifications for:

• Microsoft Dynamics 365
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
• Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) platforms
• Microsoft Graph, Power BI
• AI/ML services

Work with engineering teams to define synchronous and asynchronous integration patterns using REST APIs and Azure Service Bus.

What We’re Looking For

Essential

• 8–12+ years of experience as a Senior System Analyst or Systems Analyst delivering enterprise-scale software solutions.

• Experience of cloud-native technologies including Next.js, NestJS, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, Microsoft Azure, Azure Service Bus, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).

• Knowledge of Python, FastAPI, Triton, CLIP, SDXL, ControlNet.

• Proven experience gathering, analyzing, and translating business requirements into functional specifications, technical designs, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.

• Experience working closely with Product Owners, Tech Lead, Developers, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Excellent analytical, documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Desirable

• Experience designing integrations with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems, and Microsoft Graph.

• Experience with event-driven architecture, workflow automation, API design, data mapping, and enterprise integration patterns.

• Hands on experience of Python, FastAPI, Triton, CLIP, SDXL, ControlNet.

• Exposure to manufacturing, textile, apparel, retail, product lifecycle management (PLM), supply chain, or ERP-based business processes.

• Familiarity with reporting and analytics platforms such as Microsoft Power BI, along with a basic understanding of AI/ML-enabled business workflows.
