The Opportunity
We are looking for a Power BI Developer (5+ years experience) to help scale our Finance Reporting Planning & Analytics function. The FP&A Team supports key planning decisions, identifies cost savings and efficiency opportunities and provides customer / partner reporting and dashboards.
You will design and deliver high-impact dashboards and operational / management reports that enable teams across the business, including sales, finance, merchandising, operations and supply chain, to make faster, smarter decisions.
This role suits someone who enjoys turning complex data into clear insights, building robust data models and creating reporting solutions that are actually used by the business to drive change.
What You’ll Do
Build Business-Critical Reporting
- Design and develop interactive Power BI dashboards and analytical reports.
- Create Paginated Reports for operational and formatted reporting.
- Deliver reporting that provides insight into sales performance, product trends, inventory and operational metrics.
Develop Robust Data Models
- Build scalable Power BI semantic models.
- Create advanced DAX measures and calculated fields.
- Use Power Query to transform and prepare data.
Manage Power BI Environment
- Publish and manage reports in Power BI Service.
- Configure workspaces, refresh schedules and access permissions.
- Ensure reports are reliable, performant and well-governed.
Work Closely with the Business
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define reporting requirements and KPIs.
- Translate business questions into clear, actionable dashboards.
- Help teams move from manual reporting to automated insight.
Improve Reporting Capability
- Standardise reporting layouts and visual standards.
- Continuously improve report performance and usability.
- Help grow a data-driven culture across the business.

What We’re Looking For
Essential
- 2-4 years experience developing reports in Microsoft Power BI.
- Strong experience with:
- Power BI Service & Data Models
- Paginated Reports (Power BI Report Builder)
- Experience building complex dashboards and interactive visualisations.
- Strong DAX, Power Query and data modelling skills.
- Experience working with structured enterprise data sources specifically MS Fabric or Dataverse
- Ability to translate business requirements into effective dashboards.
Desirable
- Experience working with Microsoft ERP & CRM, retail, merchandising or supply chain data.
- Understanding of data warehousing or BI architecture.
- Experience improving Power BI performance and governance.
